7.5.5.5. Provision for Future installations
(1) Where provision is made for a fixture to be installed in the future, the drainage system andventing ="http://thehandyforce.com/interior/bathroom-renovations/" title ="Toronto Bathroom renovation inspiration">venting system shall be sized accordingly and provision made for the necessary future connections.
(2) Except as required in Sentence 7.5.7.7.(2), where a plumbing system is installed in a building, every storey in which plumbingis or may be installed, including the basement of a single family dwelling, shall have extended into it or passing through it a vent pipe that is at least 1 ½ in. in size for the provision of future connections.
Note: On July 1, 2017, Sentence 7.5.5.5.(2) of Division B of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted: (See: O. Reg. 139/17, s. 54)
