9.9.6.2. Clear opening Height at doorway ="http://thehandyforce.com/doors/" title ="Toronto Door installer">doorways

(1) Except as provided in Sentences (2) and (3), the clear opening height of doorway ="http://thehandyforce.com/doors/" title ="Toronto Door installer">doorways shall be not less than 2 030 mm high at,

(a) exit doors,

(b) doors that open into or are located within a public corridor, and

(c) doors that open into or are located within another facility that provides access to exit from a suite.

(2) The clear opening height under door closers and other devices in doorway ="http://thehandyforce.com/doors/" title ="Toronto Door installer">doorways described in Sentence (1) shall be not less than 1 980 mm.

(3) doorway ="http://thehandyforce.com/doors/" title ="Toronto Door installer">doorways serving a single dwelling unit need not comply with Sentences (1) and (2).

Note: On July 1, 2017, Sentence 9.9.6.2.(3) of Division B of the Regulation is amended by striking out "single dwelling unit" and substituting "houseor an individual dwelling unit". (See: O. Reg. 139/17, s. 94)
